Have you ever found yourself looking at a pool equipment pad
for the first time and the only thing that comes to your mind is the question
of: Why? Why would anyone who claims to be a pool professional install and
plumb equipment the way that they did?
My name is Rick Howard and I’ve been in
the pool industry for over 40 years. I’m excited to share my experience with
real-world examples of poorly installed equipment and the proper way to install
and use various PVC fittings designed to make life easier and systems more
efficient than ever – including some fittings that you may not be too familiar
with.
During the class, I will be showing real-world horror stories of
equipment installs and PVC nightmares including before and after images with
breakdowns of how to optimize systems and approach extremely challenging
situations. We will work toward being able to quickly and efficiently identify
mistakes with installations and how to approach looking for repair options. By
the end of the course, you will be able to immediately shake your head in
amazement at how hard someone worked to incorrectly complete an equipment
installation.
This class will help you approach equipment installs and
replacements from a new perspective while also broadening your understanding of
how installing equipment the right way can help to increase pump performance
and system efficiency. Proper planning of installations can help to maximize
efficiency and water flow while also providing more energy savings to the
customer. Planning ahead also assists in providing easier repairs and
upgradability for the future.
Please consider attending my course in “Your
Worst Plumbing Nightmares and Expert Solutions” at the Everything Under the Sun Expo in Orlando. This real-world
information hour will make a huge difference on how you approach everyday
problems with pool equipment.
