Design Awards

Members of the Florida Swimming Pool Association can enter projects completed within the state of Florida.  Submit each entry as you complete the project or send all entries at once by the final deadline. Gain recognition you can use to market your company!

The annual Florida Swimming Pool Association Design Awards program gives members an opportunity to enter their pools, spas and water features for judging on

• Workmanship
• Soundness of design
• Beauty
• Practicality
• Safety

Categories customized for Florida pool construction divide the entries by size, type of construction and features.

Pools are awarded

• Gold, Silver, Bronze or Award of Merit based on a panel of industry judges’ review.
• Plaque – Winners receive a plaque with a photo of the pool or spa so they may display their accomplishment to prospective customers.
• Media – Award winning pools are submitted to national industry magazines for publication and also distributed to the winners’ local media.
• Logo – A special logo is available for the winners to use in ads, business cards and on company letterhead.

1-A. Small: 250 to 500 square feet
1-B. Large: 501 square feet and over
1-C. Vanishing Edge

Residential – Fiberglass or Vinyl Liner

Classic Residential

Any residential swimming pool, regardless of size or type of construction, built at least 10 years prior to deadline. Year pool was finished must accompany entry. Previous pool award winners are eligible.

Pool Restorations

Country clubs, cabana and beach clubs, YMCA, hotel, motel, condominium and apartment pools, and any other non-residential pools.
